Etihad Airlines is in talks with Kingfisher Airlines to acquire a stake in the Indian carrier, The Hindu has reported, citing unnamed sources. The Abu Dhabi-based airline has shifted its focus to Kingfisher after the valuation being sought by Jet Airways was 'too high,' although it was not immediately clear as to what the status of the talks between Jet Airways and Etihad was, the sources said.
